The successful applicant will work alongside colleagues on a wide range of medical communications assignments designed to meet the needs of our clients in China (primarily the Chinese subsidiaries of global pharmaceutical companies).

The key responsibilities of this role will be:
- Creation and review of the highest quality scientific and medical content across a range of written communications including presentations, publications and digital media
- Adapting writing style and tone to meet the needs of different audiences
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues, external experts and client teams as part of an integrated account team to deliver projects to the highest standard
- Building positive relationships with client and clinical experts
- Gaining an in-depth understanding of the relevant therapy areas
Candidates for this role will have excellent written and verbal English and Chinese language skills (native fluency in Mandarin), in addition to: - An accomplished academic background within science: a first degree in a biomedical science or similar is essential. A research-based degree (MSc or PhD) is preferred
- At least 2 years’ medical writing experience gained within a healthcare communications agency, CRO or pharmaceutical company
- The ability to rapidly review and transform complex scientific information into clear, accurate and engaging content, identifying key messages and learning points
- A high level of enthusiasm for science and healthcare-related topics
- An appreciation for the highest standards of accuracy and detail
